- The South African Government has instituted a travel ban in a bid to stop the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus).

- Abu Dhabi extends movement restrictions by one week from 9 June 2020 The movement restrictions on entering and exiting Abu Dhabi, and travelling between its regions, has been extended for another period of at least one week starting from 9 June, authorities have announced.
