Australian Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, has announced that Australia will abolish its temporary work visa and replace it with one that requires better work and English-language skills.
The temporary work visa has been popular among foreigners but the Prime Minister is confident that the visa change will benefit the country and its people even more by attracting better skilled workers.
The new visa will be limited to a two-year period. A four-year visa will require a higher standard of English.
It is still to be confirmed when the change will come into effect.
