Qatar Airways has introduced a laptop lending service on March 31, for its premium passengers flying to and from the US.
Passengers will be able to download their work on a USB before boarding and will be able to continue their work in-flight on a laptop provided by the airline.
The airline said it would also offer one hour’s free WiFi for all passengers, and those who wanted to stay connected on their laptop or smartphone would be able to do so at an additional cost of $5 (R68).
This follows an electronic travel ban on flights to and from the US and UK, which came into effect at the end of last month.
